The most incredible 3 days with my beautiful friends, Rebecca and Mark. Here’s a little snippet into just one of those days. It was the most effortlessly elevated garden-party wedding at Porters Pinot in Martinborough, full of soul and style. It’s everything I’m manifesting more of in my work. I’m now offering film + Super8 to add even more depth to these forever memories.

Hi, I'm Lucy Li.
I’m a Wellington-based wedding and family photographer documenting modern love, connection and all the beautiful chaos in between.
Before photography, I worked in London at Christie's. Now, storytelling through imagery is my art. My work blends honest emotion with an editorial eye, creating photographs that feel both deeply personal and beautifully considered.
I’m drawn to the movement, the in-between moments, the imperfect magic and the images that make you feel something years later.
I love adventure, travel and doing things a little differently, so if you’re dreaming up something wild, nostalgic, intimate or completely your own, I’m already in.

The jury panel included over 80 photo editors, art directors, curators, buyers and other photography professionals from across the globe, such as Getty Images. It is such an honour to win two awards in a world-renowned contest and I would love to create pieces of art like this for you.
